A primary (master) 7" TFT LCD display screen incorporates the GPX PD7711B's player and can operate independently. Plug the A/V cable (included) into the A/V OUT on the primary display and the A/V IN on the secondary display to duplicate what the master unit is displaying. The AV OUT port on the main screen can be also connected to other displays like TV's using the supplied RCA audio/video cable connected to the RCA stereo audio inputs and composite video input on the TV or similar display. You can also use the secondary screen's AV IN port to display from another input source, say a suitable camera or camcorder. Control buttons for the GPX PD7711B Portable DVD Player are located below the primary display screen to let you control playback, choose between DISC, USB or CARD and to access on-screen menus. Conveniently, for mum and dad, there is remote control included which lets you control the primary screen's functions as well, and it includes some extra options like ANGLE to view alternate angles on supported DVD's, ZOOM to zoom in or out on a playing DVD and PROGRAM to program a loaded disc to play tracks or chapters in a specified order. Buttons below the secondary screen allow you to control its settings like color, brightness and volume. With a resolution of 480 x 234 the displays are clear and crisp.
The GPX PD7711B screens are easy to mount on car seats. Just slide the primary and secondary displays into their headrest strap cases, then thread the straps through the connections on the back, slip over the headrests and tighten the straps. If you have your movies stored digitally the GPX PD7711B has a USB port for use with thumb drives and a memory card slot for SD or MMC memory cards and it supoorts JPEG, MP3, MPEG1, and MPEG2 file formats.
